The Bengal organization is getting so desperate to get Zac 'In Over His Head' Taylor a win, they've now resorted to waiving promising rookies and replaced them with untalented veterans. The most recent victim of this stupidity is WR Damion Willis. Willis was waived to make room for ex-Cleveland Brown Anthony Zettel who has never lived up to his billing. Willis on the other hand set the preseason on fire as a rookie free agent and just a couple on months later he's gone. If he's not plucked off waivers, I'll be shocked. And while we're at it, let's bring up the stupid decision to NOT trade away AJ Green for a first round pick. AJ is in his 30's and has missed numerous games over the last few seasons due to injury. It's past time to move on and make a trade that will benefit the team for years to come. Tyler Eifert, Geno Atkins, Carlos Dunlap, you name it, should be traded away for the teams sake. Unfortunately, Mike Brown envisions one of next years top rookie QB's throwing the football to AJ Green as if that will turn the organization around and more importantly for him - fills seats. Brown knows nothing when it comes to building a winner. NOTHING!!! The Bengals are ripe... primed, to trade away older veterans to set themselves up for the next decade, but ownership isn't capable of understanding how important this is for the teams future. If these trades were to be made, the Bengals could draft a franchise QB in the 2020 draft such as Joe Burrow and solidify their o-line, LB'er's, and possibly bring in a DT, DE or TE as well. Brown should also go out and bring in two stud free agents even if he's got to overpay them. An o-lineman and a LB'er would be great. Zac Taylor should also be on the hot seat. He's brought in questionable coaches and his play calling is all over the place. I see no semblance of a team that has improved due to its head coach. I would possibly give Taylor another year with a short leash. If the team could lure a Kyle Shanahan type coach to come to the Queen City as its new head coach, ownership should jump on that immediately. Lastly, all of this could be done while keeping the team millions of dollars below the cap. It's even possible that next years salaries would be LESS than what the team is paying this year. True story.
