Just when you think it can’t get worse. The Bengals seem to revel in outdoing themselves. This running game is the worst I’ve ever seen. Even the ‘90s wasn’t this bad. The line is horrendous and we all know Dalton’s defects. The defense tries but when your own offense is your worst enemy you’re in trouble.
I can see a situation where the 1st round pick ( especially if it’s a QB ) refuses to play here. What’s the selling point. A bumbling cheap skate owner, in a midwestern cold city that’s 20 years behind the times. Maybe it wouldn’t bother Burrow being from Ohio to play here. I could see Burrow going # 1 and the Bengals will likely win 1 game to put them out of it. D’oh

The D is also bad. Jacksonville did not score that many point offensively but look at the stats! They should have scored 14 more points. D cannot stop the run over Left Tackle or around end. In the Baltimore game Lawson's assignment was to take away RB that QB Jackson handed off too or faked too. Jackson saw this and kept the ball. This left one defender to tackle Jackson. Jackson ran for 152 yards. Defensive scheme sucks.

The D is bad, can't stop the run, can't rush the passer, can't cover anyone. This years team might topple those 2-14 teams of yesteryears. Guys we're watching history here in epic fail proportions. It feels like they're sliding down that black hole. Young inexperienced coaching doesn't help either.I really haven't seen any adjustments at all. I listened to Taylor's presser yesterday and it sounds like he's still stuck in the 11 formation. It's not working. I'd switch to a 12. Help with the woeful O-line. It could help with pocket protection and maybe the run game. It could disguise the run/pass plays better.
As I'm typing this I see the Patriots traded a 2nd round pick you Sanu. What could A.J. bring in. To keep him and possibly get nothing for him is stupidity at it's highest form. Even if he resigns do you want an aging injured, highly overpaid WR on this team. Brown will mess this up, I have no confidence in this man.
