I think this game is going to come down to which QB has the better game. If the Bengal D allows Russell Wilson to scramble for big chunks of yardage and make plays outside the pocket, the Seahawks could blow this game wide open early. The key for the Bengals is to keep Wilson in the pocket all day long and stop the short underneath passes. This is a tall task to ask of the Bengal D considering the lack of talent at LB'er. The safeties have to come through big time tomorrow.
Another key to a Bengal victory lies with Dalton. If he continues to make boneheaded plays when chased from the pocket and allow passes to be tipped at the line of scrimmage, that too could lead to a blowout.
But let's keep in mind that the Bengals are rebuilding and Zac Taylor has made all the right calls up to this point in getting this rebuild underway. The players he kept on the 53 man roster were the same players I would've kept except for one. I think WR Ventell Bryant should have made the 53 or at least been put on the practice squad. WR's Cody Core and Josh Malone are two other practice squad candidates that should have probably been added, but it doesn't look like that big of a loss so far. Both were highly inconsistent. Both would make a few catches here and there and then disappear for long stretches. Bryant on the other hand looked for more consistent, made acrobatic catches and kept the chains moving. But overall, a great 53 man roster for a team that's rebuilding and I guarantee it's a better roster than Lewis would've come up with. I'm sure Michael Johnson would still be the teams starting RDE if it weren't for Taylor's forward thinking.
