If Mike Brown is stupid enough to hire Hue Jackson as the Bengals next head coach following this season... oh wait a minute... Brown has already proven to be that stupid. Sorry guys. My bad.
Anyway, if Hue Jackson does become the Bengals next coach, every TRUE FAN of the Bengals should not attend games, buy tickets or support anything that's related to the team. The entire fanbase, along with the entire city of Cincinnati, should demonstrate, picket and protest against owner Mike Brown right in front of PBS until REAL CHANGE is made. Hope does not exist with this team as long as Brown is at the helm. Brown literally thinks we fans don't know what we're talking about concerning the team and the only reason the Bengals haven't been successful under his direction is nothing more than a case of bad luck. Brown is seriously delusional and his head coach is not the sharpest tool in the shed. Lewis can't even manage a game clock properly. Managing a game clock is one of the first things a Pop Warner coach first learns. When is the NFL going to step in and give Brown an ultimatum is what I'd like to know.
I could get this team into the playoffs in 2-3 years and possibly turn them into a legitimate Super Bowl contender. I truly believe (know) this. I think I'll give Brown a call and see if he's interested in winning. I'll get back to you guys later on and let you know how things are progressing. Don't think I could do it? Go back and take a look at my drafts compared to those of Brown and Lewis. It's not even close guys and that's really, really sad.

I agree a millionth percent. Brown is an idiot. So is Hue. I don’t think Hue is that good of a coach. He’s cocky and he’s not that intelligent. Everyone knew he was on the hot seat. So what’s he do? He starts Taylor over Baker. That’s a bad decision right off the bat. This is your chance for a fresh start with your #1 draft pick starting QB. Maybe it buys you one extra year. He chooses Taylor. Dumb. After Hue is fired, Baker talks about how everyone disagreed with his play calling. Hue would do that here. He’s a Marvin clone. Start veterans over younger players when it’s obvious who should be playing.
Mike Brown is in his own world and he could care less about anyone else. If he truly appreciated what this fan base had done for him. He’d do this team and city justice by running his team like a professional. Hire the best guy. Cast your net out there. There’s plenty of better options than Hue. We know Mike Brown. He’ll hire Hue. He’ll hang on to veterans longer than they should. The losing trend will continue. The next thing you know 3 years turns into 10 years and it’s the 90’s all over again. This all could be prevented if Brown opened up his closed mind. Come on Mike, for once in your life, do the right thing.

If he hires HJ it would be like his father hiring Bob Johnson over Bill Walsh.

Come on Mike, for once in your life, do the right thing. I totally agree. Brown stated that it's his team and he'll do with it as he wants. This statement was made just a couple of years ago. Another words, we fans should accept the way Brown runs the team regardless of the results. I truly believe Brown has some sort of personality and/or mental disorder. Maybe it's a result of being born with a silver spoon in his mouth. Who knows for sure, but something upstairs doesn't seem to be operating properly. One thing is for sure, Brown doesn't appreciate the fans. NOT. ONE. BIT. While we're on the subject of incompetence, stupidity and arrogance, lets not leave Lewis out. And the best way to reflect on Lewis' nuttiness is through example(s). Throughout the year, DE Sam Hubbard has proven nearly every week that he's a much better player than DE Michael Johnson, yet Johnson has been the starter every week when healthy as far as I'm aware of. There are many, many other similar examples, but it would take most of the day to list them all. Anyway, I'm sure you guys get the point.

He will give it to Hue Jackson. Even though he has failed as a HC with 2 different teams. This was the whole reason for bringing him back. I would give it to Jim Hasslet before I would give it to Hue. We need a fresh coach. I would prefer an offensive minded coach. I also think they should give Hasslet a shot at defensive coach. And I am being strictly realistic there because you know they promote within. If Jackson becomes HC, and I'm sure he will, I wont be watching next year. 30 years of this crap is enough. And I didn't even watch the game against Oakland. I just simply forgot they were playing which shows you how much I care anymore. I haven't forgotten a game in 40 years.

I've too have sorta put the Bengals on the back-burner on Sunday afternoons. Let's just say what every Bengal fan is thinking - This team doesn't stand a chance of becoming an elite team until Mike Brown dies. I do NOT wish for his passing. To do so would be immoral and/or football does not trump morality. But to be blunt, it's the truth. IMO, Brown has no intention of stepping down... ever! Brown does enjoy shoving it in the faces of Bengal fans and to paraphrase; he's the owner and he'll do what he wants with his team. His words, not mine. In his estimation, we fans are clueless even though the numbers accumulated over the past 20+ years demonstrate quite the opposite. Simply put, Brown does not know how to build a quality NFL team. I agree that Hue Jackson will more than likely become the teams head coach and here's why. Jackson is one of only a few coaches in the league that's willing to coach a team under Brown and Brown realizes this. Also, Brown doesn't want to hire a coach like a Jay Gruden, Sean Payton, etc., because he knows they would not tolerate his greedy ways and infighting and an eventual departure would follow. Another words, Brown is comfortable with Jackson because he knows he can control Jackson and Jackson won't complain about all of Brown's greedy and inept ways of running the team.

I know a guy that works at the stadium. He tells me Mike Brown is at that stadium every day. He runs every morning at the stadium. He’s at every practice on the sideline. He’s a true lifer. He’s 85. He could be around for awhile.
