We will see today if the Bengals are really ready to get to the playoffs. This is a must win against a team that is not a playoff team. No excuses for a loss. It is a team that you can dominate. Bengals must show they have the strength and attitude to go all the way.

Was not the prettiest game but we won. Just like last week, the Defense was not there in the first half. Dolphins controlled the game until middle 3rd Quarter. You play and make the breaks. That is what happened.
Bengals were lucky. I do not think that I every saw a QB throw a ball three feet in front of him, hit his receiver in the head and the ball bounce into the hands of a defender for a pick six. Good teams somehow win but do not deserve to win.

Good teams somehow win but do not deserve to win. I agree that great teams find a way to win ugly games, but the Bengals still haven't proven that they are an elite team yet. And what I mean by that is fairly simple - they haven't put together one consistent game to date, let alone a string of games where they dominated their opponent for all four quarters. Every win has been coupled with lapses of poor play which has given every opponent a chance to pull out a win late in the fourth quarter. This has always been Marvin's calling card since he took over the team in 2003 and it's one that he and this team need to rid themselves of quickly. It's time for the Bengals to start dictating to other teams how the game is going to be played. It's time for them to force their will against their opponents. It's time to take this team to the next level. It's time to open a can of whoop ass!

Yeah, I'm not worried about the offense coming together as much as I am the defense. They have played like crap! Definitely aren't playing to their potential. But if they manage to put it all together we can't look back and say thank god they managed to win the sloppy ones. Bottom line for now, I'd rather see sloppy wins than sloppy losses. They have all the pieces.

They have motivation and you can see it in their play. If they played that way against all opponents we wouldn't have close games where a lucky break here or there would decide the game. Against the Steelers coming up their run defense better improve!!
