Boy oh boy, does Lewis suck. Does he understand the importance of communication? It doesn't seem like it because every time the camera pans to him after a Bengal miscue, he can be seen just standing there with a look of confusion on his face. What a dumbass!

That was a mess just before half time. Should have ran the ball twice then pass. When Lewis should call for the clock to be killed he allows a 14 second drive. When we are behind he runs the ball or punts on 4th down late in games. Any win we get in damn sure in spite of him.

When we are behind he runs the ball or punts on 4th down late in games. Any win we get in damn sure in spite of him. I want to make it clear that everything I say concerning Lewis may be wrong. I'm merely speculating and/or interpreting what 'appears' to be going on. For example, it 'appears' that Lewis is being pushed by his assistant coaches to make some wholesale changes such as retaining and playing some of the teams younger players. However, do I have proof this is the case? Nope. But after watching Lewis waive or bench promising rookies for 15 seasons, I think it's fair to speculate that his new assistants are behind this change and others. In years past, DE Sam Hubbard probably wouldn't have seen the field this past Thursday. But Hubbard did make it onto the field for a hand full of snaps and he made the most of them. Rookie S Jessie Bates is not only starting, he's playing great and recorded his first INT. Waiving S George Iloka and replacing him with Bates is very un-Lewisish. My guess is that the teams new assistants pushed Lewis to make this move, but we'll probably never know for sure. But what I do know is that such a move is uncharacteristic for a Marvin Lewis ran team. Hopefully the assistant coaches continue to push Lewis to make what I believe to be common sense moves.
