This offence has been doing this since 2011 really. We wasted best pitching we will ever have in 2012. Bats scored 10 last night. So I guess we won't score 10 in the next 5 games. They will heat up I mean law of averages and all. Last couple of months in the season the bats will come alive and guys will be close to back of there baseball cards when it is all said and done. Then the front office will say the hitting is fine. Sit on there ass and do nothing again during the offseason. Till Hamilton is gone take Duvall with him and Peraza we will not have a consistent offence. When we score 10 runs most of the time we feast of bad pitchers. We simply don't have enough good hitters to fill out a lineup. You could carry a guy like Hamilton if you had 7 other really good hitters but we just don't and we never will. There will always we one or two easy outs in our lineup.

Kid is on fire. 11 K’s through 6 ...and no hits! He's at 87 pitches though, so I'm guessing he's only good for another inning or maybe 2.

I think the coaching staff handled the no hitter about right, Mahle lost it quick. Price would have let his pitcher stay in a couple of more innings and say in the post game presser he was trying to let the kid get the complete game for a "confidence boost". If Scooter handles that hot grounder in the 9th, the Reds are heading home instead of still playing in extras.
