Brad, looks like Finnegan to the bullpen may be the Red's last hope of salvaging something from the center piece of the horrible Cueto trade. I think we'll get at least decent middle relief out of Finnegan, I don't hold out much more hope than that.

Speaking of trades, after Votto was ejected in Wednesday's game, the top 3 batters in the lineup became Schebler-Peraza-Dixon aka the 3 guys we got for Todd Frazier!

A Happy 242nd birthday to America Wednesday report:
-The Reds send RP-Dylan Floro & Bats reliever Zach Neal(who we ironically acquired earlier in the year from Dodgers in the Ariel Hernandez deal) to the Dodgers in exchange for P-James Marinan & P-Aneurys Zabala. Marinan is the key return here. He was the Dodgers 4th rd pick in the 2017 draft and had to pay double slot value to sign him. He's currently pitching for the AZL Dodgers. He's considered very talented, but still quite raw. Zabala is a reliever in Low-A, and struggling...mostly control issues.
-Tanner Rainey is coming up to take the roster spot of Floro
