Man I tell you this game has been fun thus far!
Castillo is pitching solid. Taking big swings and almost got his first RBI. Throwing 98 and blowing people away! Like the kid.
Billy Hamilton show been on 3 times, 3 SB and a Ribeye.
Votto bomb #26. Walk and 2 runs.
Lot of good baseball on this team hidden by the record via starting pitching...

We have been on people in nearly every game for most of the last 10 days. Kept climbing on the Dbacks and Rockies in games we were behind. I tell ya, I really think this team has character. Chemistry is there. Clubhouse presence is there. Add that talent to tip the scales please..!

6.2 of great 3 hit, 4 baserunner, 8 strikeout baseball of the shutout variety by Castillo. 2 inherited runners. Very nice kid. About 114 pitches. I wish they wouldn't baby the white boys like they do. They unleash the latino pitchers!

Scooter has been a pleasant surprise this season. I didn't expect much more than a utility player, but he's a little more than that. A good vet for a young, evolving team.
I'm glad I tuned in tonight, Castillo was mowin' em down! He's durable like Cueto was, but throws a little harder. Very early to tell, but I could see Castillo being a top of the order starter. Fingers crossed, we need an Ace.

Here is how I know it's good. I always got a baseball near when I watch games. When I stand in my own house with the baseball in hand thinking pitch by pitch=you know I'm into it! Been one of those games tonight! Castillo is something to watch. Peralta throwing gas and puttin em away too!

Price should be fired IMMEDIATE-FUCKING-LY for leaving Castillo in for the 7th. The man is a mental midget. NOTHING to be gained by leaving him in, he's just a kid for fuck's sake. And he's awesome. Treat him w/ kid's gloves, slooowly build him up, not in his 4th fucking start. Fire this jagoff before he ruins any other young stud's arm/psyche.

This is the problem with having a lame manager during a rebuild period......managers are never in rebuild mode, they are in "I'm going to do whatever I can to insure my job" mode. I'm for drawing and quartering that idiot, results be damned. It just amazes me how the guy w/ the charge of teaching the young studs to become MLB quality pitchers doesn't care one whit beyond this season what happens to his stable of talent. FLAREDLEG mentioned it above, I've shouted about it the last couple yrs., yet the Castellini's keep the paid for MGR., who fucks things up on a daily basis running the club, not to mention his history w/ the SP'ers, which are on the DL more than a fucking bomb disposable unit.. FIRE HIM, NOW.
