Like I figured, Garrett being sent down to sit there and twiddle his thumbs would not end well, when he came back up. Not only did we lose out on a couple of badly needed starts, his demotion also caused an obvious bad start when he joined the team again. Hopefully the the damage this organization did to the team with what I think was a terrible decision to send him down when they did, doesn't keep hurting them tonight, and the young man can get back on track tonight.

Two horrible starts in a row. Not so fine. Sure he will be fine soon enough, but the point was, this move was terrible, and was going to hurt the Reds not just while Garrett was gone, but when he comes back too. Two losses in two horrible starts since coming back.

Two losses in two horrible starts since coming back. I thought right away that if that needed to be done, you do it when one of the 3 other starters come back. I think it was a tank move. |

Garrett had no giddy up on his his fastball last night and now placed LHP Amir Garrett on the 10-day DL (right hip inflammation).
Damn, another one bits the dust
