Feldman's been great other than Opening Day, another great performance tonight. Love that I was sooo wrong about this guy, but hadn't really ever seen him pitch(that I remember), just thought he looked like another Adlemann type soft tossing AAAA pitcher, he's not, pretty damned good pitcher.

Peraza's plate discipline is a lot to be desired. How about take a pitch or two.

Peraza's plate discipline is a lot to be desired. How about take a pitch or two. I would have him and Hamilton hitting 7th and 8th in order. At very least move Peraza to 7th or 8th spot. The few times Hamilton does get on base he can't steal when Peraza is out the plate. The guy won't take a pitch to allow the steal attempt.. Price has come around with his use of def. shifts and use of the bullpen. Now if he would lose the old school thinking of fast guys must bat at top of the order. Get some OBP AT TOP . I don't care if they are slow as molases. Time after time we watch the best hitter Votto come to bat with 2 outs and nobody on base. |

Hamilton batting leadoff also gets one of your worst hitters probably 30-40 more plate apperances per season. I would rather Votto leadoff so the best hitter could get those extra plate apperances..

Mez hitting .143 in 8 games down on the farm, ouch. He's 0 for 4 tonight w/ 2 K's, so he's now 4 for 32 w/ 8 K's on this rehab stint - he hasn't gotten a hit since April 12th. |

Listened to the game in the garage. Surprised. Offense better than this. They got cold feet at home. 4-6. Great pitching though. Anyway put up some pics when I got my pet projects goin in the next few days. Eric finally got them smoke pit tops for about $116! Horshoes pits only topping out with gear at about $300. Anyway couple of G-Notes on the whole house lookin good!
9-7 Reds. Need better but in the game.

Dude I could go on vacation right now. Have the time and the funds. But I am such a homer I end up spending all my time doing shit around this endless project called my house! I am potentially going to Keeneland later next week. If I go to Lexington I am probably going to Nashville to see relatives. You are in that travel loop. If if if that happens hope we can hook up man! But cross that bridge when we come to it. I make plans and break em but it's largely not because I am being worthless, I invent shit to do. I will work 24 hours on a 3 day Holiday weekend. I need to stop sometimes and just be useless and go see shit and people I love. Like your ass! |
