So did you enjoy rubbing our noses in the dogshit yet again SW?! HAHAHA!! Merry Christmas woman. Love ya. Hope I got something worth talking shit about next season! Back atcha. Hope your holiday is festive and your off-season free from the toils that supporting the Bengals must surely bring. May it ease your suffering some to know that if the Steelers make the playoffs, they are very likely "one and done," and that's a big "if." I don't think that beating the Ravens on Christmas Day is by any stretch of the imagination a lock.

Really? Two face masks in the end zone by the Bengals and you're call the Steelers dirty? Lol. Those orange colored glasses are clouding your vision. I was only referring to the Steelers attempt to provoke Burfict in order to get him kicked out of the game. Do you think otherwise? The refs did miss those two Bengal face mask penalties but that doesn't negate a history of dirty play by the Steelers. They're considered by players, fans and coaches alike throughout the league as one of, if not the, dirtiest team in the league. It's already been proven (not by me) that the Steelers cheat more than every team in the league besides the Jets. Now, you can either take off those piss colored glasses before your mind blocks out anymore unsavory Steeler history or you can switch teams and root for the good guys; the Bengals. You guys will never get over Kimo getting blocked into Carson's knee, will you? It gives you a free pass to read selective "studies" about cheating and dirty play (you are referring to the discredited claim that the Steelers were 'roided up in the '70's, I presume) and pretend that you aren't supporting a team that employ not one, but two, guys who have no problem ending someone's season, and possibly their career, just for fun. If I wanted to root for the good guys, I wouldn't be watching professional football.

If I wanted to root for the good guys, I wouldn't be watching professional football. Roided up Ste-elitists in the '70's? I honestly don't know what you're talking about so on to the rest of your post. Your post makes a lot of assumptions that aren't accurate so allow me to clarify. The Bengals are just one of 31 other teams in the league that have dealt with dirty play by the Ste-elitists for decades. Year in and year out, the Ste-elitists always rank at or near the top of the league as being one of dirtiest teams per their peers; not through my orange colored glasses. It's just a fact. Either accept it or don't. It doesn't matter to me or the rest of the NFL world. It's just puzzling to me why someone of your intelligence refuses to accept your team for who they are. It's strange considering the Ste-elitists have won six Superbowls. For example, I accept the fact that Vontaze Burfict is a dirty player. Burfict has purposely tried to injure opposing players from several other teams such as Cam Newton, Maxx Williams, etc. I accept this fact. It's reality. However, after decades of watching the Ste-elitists injure Bengal after Bengal through questionable play, to say the least, it does warm we Bengal fans hearts to have a player that has turned the tables on the Ste-elitists and has given them a taste of their own medicine. What goes around comes around. You may say this is wrong, and maybe it is, but it's human nature to enjoy watching a bully get punched in the mouth and right or wrong, Tez has done a great job of doing just that. Surely you can understand that very basic human instinct. But if Burfict doesn't get his act together, trading him to an NFC team should be considered. In my opinion, the Kimo hit on Palmers knee was an accident. I don't think that Kimo was trying to blow out Palmer's knee intentionally but only Kimo knows for sure. But diving at a defenseless players knee is considered to be dirty football. And the Ste-elitists excuse that Kimo was blocked into him doesn't wash. This is a Ste-elitists myth so I've included a video which should put this to bed once and for all. Basically, Kimo is coming in low towards Palmers legs as a Bengal player reaches out/down in an attempt to redirect Kimo's route but he's unsuccessful in doing so and barely makes contact with him and then the low hit takes place. But this is only one of many dirty hits by Ste-elitists against the good guys. Keith Rivers broken jaw; Kevin Huber's broken jaw; Kenny Anderson's neck turned into a pretzel; etc., etc. How about James Harrison's hit on Colt McCoy or a kick by a Ste-elitist to the helmet of another Browns player? Just a bunch of unfortunate accidents or a culture of dirty play? www.youtube.com/watch?v=AQKi0HEi9a8www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hf3v8aK5nCIwww.youtube.com/watch?v=OPbraVljIrcwww.youtube.com/watch?v=06XVAXKhYh0www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z2DTio1-HMY

This never gets old. The long held believe that the Steelers are "cheaters" is founded on misinformation, fostered by sour grapes (Fran Tarkenton even got it wrong when he pretended that steriods were why he got owned by the Steelers in the SB). Here's the link:
bleacherreport.com/articles/232404-the-steelers-steroids-and-profound-misconceptions
Yourteamcheats.com uses this as the basis of their claim that the Steelers are the second most cheating franchise in the NFL. Everything else is pretty ticky tacky, including Tomlin stepping in front of the Raven. Most people who are "cheating" are actually aware of it and try to hide it. Maybe Tomlin is a cheater, but it kind of looked like a brain fart to me. Either way, it happened one time, so hardly "systematic" or a "culture" of cheating.
As far as "dirty players," well - have a look at the link in this article about the number of defensive players fined in 2010/2011 as the league tried to enforce rule changes that effectively changed the way defensive players were taught to play the game. Harrison became the poster boy because he was both defiant and vocal. Not going to argue whether Colt McCoy, a runner, lowered his head or not - Harrison was not being given the benefit of the doubt at that time. Interestingly, Colt McCoy was among the many who did not think the hit was illegal, tho I'm sure plenty of people in Cleveland felt otherwise.
www.behindthesteelcurtain.com/nfl-pittsburgh-steelers-news/2015/2/7/7995405/james-harrison-has-racked-up-150000-in-fines-since-2002
This article (which provides a link to all fines levied by the NFL, noting 2010/11 were especially hard on defensive players), mentions that the NFL returned some of the fine $$ to Harrison and that in 2014 (the article is from 2015), Harrison received no fines. I was interested in how many fines he received from 2002 up until 2010, but couldn't find it. Fines and flags are imperfect insofar as not all the dirty plays are flagged or fined, but they should be a good indicator. At least as good as the opinion of opposing players (see Fran Tarkenton above, naming players who were definitely on steroids who were not even Steelers at the time of the game). It's easier to believe someone is dirty or a cheater if they just owned you.
And then you have Burfict,...
www.sbnation.com/2016/12/18/13351854/vontaze-burfict-history-cincinnati-bengals-asu-personal-fouls
Most great players play on the fringes of the rules. Burfict flat out only wants to hurt people and can't seem to control himself. And hey, I get that you think it's fine as long as he's just taking out Steelers. As long as he takes the Bengals out of it at the same time.
Have yourself a merry little Christmas.

"Burfict flat out only wants to hurt people and can't seem to control himself".
And Mike Mitchell doesn't? Like Burfict, Mitchell has also twisted ankles. Are you not aware of this? Did you miss the part of the game where Gilbert and DeCastro jumped Burfict for no reason with Gilbert receiving a penalty? Please inform the board of why you think this was OK if indeed you do. And by the way, how many Steelers did Burfict injure yesterday with illegal hits?
And by no means should you take this as a denial by myself of Burfict's well established antics. As I mentioned earlier, the Bengals should consider trading Burfict if he becomes a detriment to the team or continues to purposely hurt opposing players. That's the difference between us. I look at my team objectively and speak the truth without coming up with lame excuses. Unfortunately, you don't.
I've been watching NFL games faithfully since 1977 and I never saw a head coach go out on the field during a play and trip an opposing player. And it's not like Tomlin's 'trip' occurred during a meaningless play. He tripped a kick returner who was headed to the end zone and he (Tomlin) was the only thing standing in his way. Can I, or anyone else for that matter, 'prove' that Tomlin's trip was intentional? Nope, but to marginalize it as possibly being nothing more than an innocent brain fart is just another example of a rather poor excuse.
What you obviously don't seem to understand or refuse to accept, is that the Steelers have a history of dirty play and cheating that goes back for decades and that's not coming from me, that's coming from the entire NFL world and not only from Fran Tarkenton. And it's also important to note that the standards used by yourteamcheats.com were the same standards applied to every team, so whining over the fact that the Steelers placed second in this dubious category is the epitome of sour grapes. You don't like the message so attack the messenger. Sad.
