The coaches wanted to win. Maybe the don't know how to win. There's no built in excuse. We almost won with a backup QB. We were in position. We imploded. Plain and simple. We can look at highlights and pick this call or that non call. It's over. There's nothing we can do about it. The Bengals are going to be so hungry next year. Breaking news. Burfict suspended first 3 games without pay. That's ok. We didn't have him till Nov. this past year. Does he push the limits. Yes he does. He's not the only one. Teams would salivate to have him on their team.

Sorry about the avatar Choco! The normal default one was creepy and no one would change it. Lo and behold I used that one as a default and everyone found one immediately. Call it controversial effectiveness! Lol!
Anyways good to see you. Trying to keep us all in the same place. Unless something happens to Proboards I will never pull the plug. We've lost too many good people over the years.
Tough beat last week. It's taken me a few days for it to settle in.

Vontaze Burfict may single-handedly keep the Steelers out of the Super Bowl. He injured Antonio Brown, Le'Veon Bell and Ben Roethlisberger.

I'm sure you've seen this clip. I echo the writer's sentiment and offer you this. I'd rather have 1 Jeremy Hill on my team than 10 Burficts. The contrast between competition at the highest level and Hill's true agony and Burfict's selfish, look at me, 'star killer' persona is what Marvin has wrought. All the finger pointing in the world won't change the fact the those two assholes didn't give a shit about their team and they sure don't give a shit about the fans either. And that is THE reason we're even worrying about how to play without Brown this weekend and you're trying to convince yourself that you're proud of this piece of garbage. www.baltimorebeatdown.com/2016/1/15/10776222/cincinnati-bengals-running-back-jeremy-hills-reaction-to-vontaze

Burfett hit on Raven's Max Williams the week before is making the rounds in B-more. Burfett should get 8 weeks off for that hit. Ugly blindside hit to the head. After seeing that this morning, I am surprised he was even on the field Saturday night. He is the new "criminal element in football"...to quote a Steelers coach from a few decades ago. This is ugly. Makes me sick that he was not suspended. Not even Hines Ward's blind side hits were this egregious. www.totalprosports.com/2016/01/10/vontaze-burfict-headshot-maxx-williams-video/ Call me old school if you wanna cause I am, But I saw nothing wrong with Shaziers SP? hit on Gio nor did I see anything wrong with the hit on Brown. I hate Pitt but I do like Brown he is hands down best WR in football fun to watch. They might as well just change name from nfl to flag football league. In the 70s Pitt def players used to sack Ken Anderson and try to twist his head off at same time. Jack Tatum used to level guys coming over the middle. It used to be you came over the middle to catch a pass at your own risk. You knew you were going to get blasted. Guys used to kick guys in balls. try to bit ball carriers fingers off etc. All that was foolish AND TAKING IT WAY TOO FAR. But I see nothing wrong with drilling a guy anyway possible to knock ball loose. I have about had it with NFL game. These games are fixed for most part anyway to much money being bet on games for at least some of them not to be fixed. It is not the same game I used to know. Guys who get concussion know it is possible when they sign up to play football. It is not or shouldn't be some pansy game. Blast away. I sympathize redsfanforlife. If this were the '70s, '80s, or maybe even the early '90s, Burfict would be hailed as the next great linebacker and the hits that he's being fined for would be praised and shown on ESPN all the time. Unfortunately, those days are long gone my friend.

It's not about the person it's about exacting long due revenge. You're 100% correct. The bully finally got punched in the mouth and he doesn't like it. Too bad. Like the old saying goes; "If you mess with the bull, expect the horns."
