Tyler Boyd is much more NFL ready than Braxton Miller. Passing over DT Andrew Billings may turn out to be a bad decision. Billings looks like a pro-bowl caliber player and at a position the Bengals need to address.

The Steelers select S Sean Davis in round two. Who in the hell is this guy? Steelers are choking in this draft thus far. However, their secondary is so bad, both Burns and Davis are improvements. The Steelers pass rush has got to be effective if either one of these guys are going to be worthy of where they were picked.

Just making sure we're all clear here, I like the Tyler Boyd selection. Boyd has soft hands. Can haul it in with one hand. Deceptively fast. Great vision weaving between defenders. Has made plays since his freshman year. Aggressive and confident. Wins more than his fair share of 50/50 jump balls. Has a nose for the end zone. Bengals steal a really good one right out of the Steelers back yard.

Round three: Nick Vigil? I don't know who in the hell this guy is so I can't give an honest evaluation. I just hope the Bengals know something I don't concerning this pick. What I do know is this. When the Bengals draft a relatively unknown player, the media usually jumps all over them for making a dumb selection and the media is usually right. However, that's NOT what the media is saying about Vigil. It's almost unanimous (concerning the media) that the Bengals selection of Vigil was a great pick. Some draft gurus have stated that it was the best third round selection up to that point. Basically, the media is ga-ga over this guy and I have my fingers crossed that they're correct. Below is a link with various quotes concerning the drafting of Vigil. www.cincyjungle.com/2016/4/29/11542798/immediate-reaction-from-bengals-coaches-media-and-fans-following

I wasn't expecting a linebacker at all. Like you 77 reading the fluff it sounds good though! LOL!
Now this DT we just took sounds like the real deal. Pairing him next to Atkins has me pretty excited.

Don't listen to what's being said about DT Andrew Billings being only a two-down player. Billings has everything from a physical standpoint that you look for in a DT and with the right coaching, Billings can become an every down player. Billings has nice size, standing at just over six-foot tall and weighs just over 300 pounds. Basically, he's got Geno Atkins size and like Atkins, Billings is a bowling ball when playing downhill. But what indicates to me that Billings has the right tools to succeed is his size coupled with his strength. Billings may be the strongest DT in this draft. He's basically an immovable object at the nose that eats up the run even when double-teamed. The intangibles are just as impressive. Billings only injury that I'm aware of occurred when he was a sophomore in high school. Since then, he's been healthy. Billings has good character both on and off the field. He's coachable and his hustle on the field is beyond outstanding. In the video below, watch as Billings chases a skill position player down from the backside. Not only does this play demonstrate just how hard Billings plays, it shows some good speed for a man his size. In my opinion, the Bengals stole Billings. So what does Rod, lost and the rest of you guys think? I had Billings as a round one to mid-second rounder all day long. I know what the media is saying, but I'm not buying it. I might end up being wrong with my evaluation of DT Andrew Billings, but I would have been happy with the Bengals selecting him in round one. He's a monster with a high ceiling. Simply put, I disagree with the national media's evaluation of him. I really think they got this one wrong. Billings has a shot at becoming a pro-bowler in time. I think the Bengals should be arrested for theft!

A few players the Bengals should consider in round five and later (if they haven't been selected yet.): WRs Kolby Listenbee, Keyarris Garrett, Roger Lewis, Cody Core, Jaylin Marshall, Jay Lee, RB Keith Marshall, G Vadal Alexander, Ss Jeremy Cash, DeAndre Houston-Carson, and CB DJ White,

Dude he isn't just making tackles on a lot of these plays he's manhandling motherfuckers! Yes! 77 I know you had him ranked high but so did a few other guys I read or heard from. This was a 4th round steal for a position that got lost in this draft. Plus it means less Peko and it puts a strong and yes I saw that downfield play athletic guy next to Geno. Dude I have statistical sickness, pathology, whatever you want to call it. I want to lead the defensive world in smallest YPC this year! I am pumped dude!

You know it=celebrate it! Thus far it's a pretty solid day to be a Bengals fan! This whole offseason has been replacing old with new or adding depth to potential problems. Nobody we lost worries me and everybody we have gained inspires me. We have a QB that stepped up last season. Basically the sky is the limit for the Bengals. Who Dey.

I felt billings was 2nd rd at least. he does lack some in pass rush but hes young I think that will improve but regardless he compliments atkins perfectly. they nailed another draft. I was shocked billings was still there.

And at his age and being tutored by Atkins I think he hasn't even begun to play his best football yet. You and 77 had him high up on the list. It means less Peko also. Really liking this pick. LB'er growing on me too!

I absolutely loved Billings prior to this draft, but when I saw him fall all the way to round four, I started second guessing myself. What did I miss? Is there something about him that I'm not aware of? I was totally shocked that he fell that far. Could turn out to be the steal of the draft.
