Not much traffic. Has everyone gone to a new site? I thought I might change that with a new thought. If MB were to fire ML soon or after the season is over, what are the odds that he will select Hue Jackson as the Head Coach? I don't think it will happen but MB likes HJ. He has hired him twice after he was fired!

Oh you can count on it. He's already here and cheap. Big mistake. Shouldn't have brought him back.

Marvin won't be fired no matter what. But if he decides to step down at seasons end. Hue Jackson will be the coach. This will be even worse than Marvin. We are about to go through the 1990s all over again. I won't watch that train wreck of a decade all over again. They are about to lose me for good as a fan. Not that Mike Brown gives two shits about any of the fans. Not a bold prediction here but IMO the Bengals will not win another game this season. We couldn't even beat Pitt week 17 if they have division won and rest all of there starters we will still lose.

This is just an article ranking the potential of a Bengal coaching change. Note, ML is number one out of eight. Below is the articels statement: www.msn.com/en-us/sports/nfl/ranking-the-nfls-potential-head-coaching-openings/ar-BBQc0Li?li=BBnba9I Ranking the NFL's potential head coaching openings 1. Cincinnati: This drew chuckles on the podcast, but here’s why I’m serious: This organization has proven they’ll be (overly) patient and won’t meddle. If you’re a young coach with a family and kids in school looking for job security, this is gigantic. EVP Katie Blackburn has proven to be a strong negotiator and cap planner. Assuming Marvin Lewis doesn’t ascend to some nebulous front office role where he’s able to meddle in decision-making (a big IF), you can plan on being there for a little while. You’ll have time to burn whatever is left to the ground, but will still have a year or two of A.J. Green’s prime left to work with. Now, will MB agree to the change? Will MB pay the money for Green Bay's Mike McCarthy who is rated 5th on the list if he is fired? Probably not.

They should fire ML today and hire Mike McCarthy.

The Bengals can make all the changes they want and it's not going to help because Mike Brown will be calling the shots. This team has little chance of becoming an elite team as long as Brown is in the picture.

MB is up there in age. Wont be long before Katie takes over and that I believe will be an improvement.

MB is up there in age. Wont be long before Katie takes over and that I believe will be an improvement. Don't be so sure. She learned how to run a team by one of the worse owners in the history of the game - her father. Mike Brown doesn't care for nor appreciate Bengal fans. His actions and rhetoric actually demonstrate that he has nothing but contempt for Bengal fans and the citizenry of the Cincinnati. Like I stated in the past, Brown doesn't give a shit about the fans, only their money. It's so bad that the fans have given up on this organization. There are so many empty seats in PBS, it's embarrassing. Reading between the lines, I think there's a good chance Katie and the rest of the Brown family plan on relocating the franchise once Mike is out of the picture. It's strange, but here we are in the football capital of the world (Ohio) and we find ourselves with the worst owner of all time in any sport. Mike Brown is cheap, clueless, selfish, demeaning, contemptible, hateful and simply doesn't give a shit about anyone other than himself. Brown should be banned from the NFL following this season and I'm dead serious. The NFL needs to step in and force his removal.

I will have to this that since ML has taken over the Defense it has improved. It doesn't change the way he is as a Head Coach. Should not have gone for 2 points the first time. Too early. Going for first down early on fourth down in the third was stupid. Bengals had a bad call on the touchdown with the ball being placed at the 1 inch line. How can they do that from the video replay. Is video replay that accurate?
Still have problems with false starts. Line coach or Head Coach? Both!!

However, if a good coaching staff were brought in along with a GM, thingswouldh change. There's something I've been wanting to say for some time now, but it sounds ridiculous, but like Mike Brown, I don't give a shit. Here goes: I could build an elite team in approximately three years. Seriously, I have no doubt I could do it and I don't give a rats ass about anyone who thinks otherwise. I may start a new thread and lay out the blueprint for building a winner.

If ML wins this game against the Steelers he will be rehired by MB just like last year when he beat the Ravens in the last game!! 🤣

Theres no other reason to bring Hue back there was no coaching position that needed filled except defense. If they give it to Hue I'm going to have to find another team to support after 40 years.

Another rumor going around is Marvin one more year. Hue as OC and Vance as DC. Who knows who Brown would promote to take over for Lewis. I don’t have confidence in either of them. Plus if one gets hired does the other one feel spurned and he looks for another job. Now you’re looking for two new coordinators. So now you’re hiring again in back to back years. That is nonsense. Now is the time to strip this down. Brown needs to get with the times. We need a GM, more and better scouting, new voices on the coaching staff with coaches who are innovative and can coach players up to their ability. It’s time to start rebuilding this team. This includes players too. But this is Mike Brown we’re talking about. No sense in getting your hopes up. We know how this story ends.

It’s gotten so bad the Browns are a better run organization. That’s with firing their incompetent head coach. (future Bengals coach?) mid way through the season. The Bengals are the bottom feeders of the AFC North now. The Browns will get a good head coach and that’ll leave the Bengals in the dust. This losing streak could go on for years if the same ole, same ole continues. I’m having deja vu again.

We know now that ML is leaving. MB did not announce Hue as of yet or at least I have not heard (12:30PM 12/31/18). A little bit of hope for the time being. By the time MB makes a decision all of the good candidates will be gone or they don't want to coach the Bengals. Anyway, MB will pick the cheapest. Can only hope the cheapest will be the best.
Anyone know what our draft pick will be. I can only hope we will be in the top 10.
